sooooooo..blogging is all the rage these days. so i decided i should probably hop to it and start up again! forgive me if this seems like it's never going to end. hahah i just have a lot on my mind! well..i've been through a lot since the last post forever and a day ago. i'm now in college. weird, right? it still hasn't hit me. hahah i'm at dixie state 'til i finish my associates. classes i'm taking right now:
-medical anatomy
-english 1010
-medical anatomy lab
-institute (becoming your best self)
-last but not least, math 1050
once i finish my associates i'm planning on either serving an LDS mission, switching to a different college, or traveling somewhere to make a difference. ethiopia, africa, haiti..anywhere that needs help, really. i think it would be such humbling experience. to see people that are without, and to help them out. i'm sure it'd make me aware of the many blessings i take for granted DAILY. my aunt even said she'd go with me, so i'm actually getting somewhere with that plan! that's most likely what i'll end up doing. i don't know how long i'd be there..or live there..but it makes me so excited to even think about it! ahhh! but, whatever i decide to do, i'm saving up my money so i can leave and start fresh!
i'm planning on either becoming a physical therapist assistant, a nurse, an oncologist nurse, or a surgical technologist. hahah you're probably like whaaaaaaat! what is that! hahah WELL, don't mind if i do.. :)
a physical therapist helps people who have been injured or had surgery to regain their strength so they can function properly again:)
a nurse goes in to patients in the hospital and helps them in any way possible to be happy and comfortable:)
an oncologist nurse would be the same as a regular nurse but would help out cancer patients:) i think that would be so inspiring.
a surgical technologist assists surgeons during surgery. they hand them all the tools and do whatever the surgeon says pretty much hahah:) i think it'd be fascinating to help with surgeries, but not actually be the surgeon! haha no way, no how!
any way i decide to go, i know i want to go into the medical field. i want to make a difference in people's lives when they need it most. i want to be able to make somebody who is in extreme amounts of pain feel better and smile:) i want to see a change in their attitudes because of me.
basically..I WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
i've grown an unbelievable amount since college has started! i've made new friends, came out of my shell a bit, and raised in self confidence. and i've come to realize several things in the past little while:
-whether it's serving the lord, serving those in other countries who need help, or serving people daily in my career, i want to make a difference.
-my best friend is heavenly father, and that will never change.
-i'm beautiful to him no matter what i do
-EVERYBODY is beautiful to him no matter what they do
-i am loved.
-YOU are loved. :)
inspired yet? i am. :)
well, hopefully i keep this whole blogging thing up. haha we'll see!
