halloweeeeeeenin' it up!

i am really SO stoked for halloween. i'm going to see paranormal activity 3 tonight at midnight with em, i'm going to the asylum up in cedar city tomorrow around midnight with lindsay, garrett, jacob, and a few others, and i'm going to thriller next saturday with my parents and em, alex, and brooke.

if you haven't seen paranormal activity 1 or 2, they're pretty rad. pretty freaky. the first one is about one sister, the second is about the other sister..and the third, is about when the sisters were kids and first found out about this creepy spirit that then followed them throughout the rest of their lives, and into paranormal activity's 1 and 2. i just watched a preview and i about peed my pants. hahaha!

mmmmm..and the asylum in cedar city is also super freaky, apparently. two of my friends (lindsay and jacob) have free tickets so they invited me and a friend to come along. i'm pretty sure it's one of the haunted houses (even better, this one's a haunted HOSPITAL. i'm already freaking out..) where you have to sign a waiver so they can touch you. freeeeeakkyyyy..(these are actual pictures from the one i'm going to..)

my brother was telling me about this haunted hospital that he's been through in denver. there's 13 floors and the goal is to get to the 13th floor. if you get there, you get your money back. all 25 dollars. haha well..guess how many people out of 3,000 that year made it through? hahahah pretty sure your guess was wrong. 2. yep. that's it. TWO. :( haha my brother made it about half way..anyway! he had to sign like five waivers so they could touch him and pick him up and drag him and push him and do WHATEVER..each floor crazy people try to get you in a like a jail cell. the only way to get out from there is through a back door in each of the cells that takes you back to the beginning. and then you're done. yep. unless you want to pay another 25 dollars and go through AGAIN. so that means 2,998 people got shoved/dragged/pushed/picked up and put into cells. hahah i don't even think i'd make it to..the 5th floor. yikes.

yes, i do realize this is one of the absolute WORST cases possible, buuuut i've never been to a haunted house where the people can actually touch you, so i'm assuming the worst. if they lay a single finger on me, i'm going to go all ninja and kick them in the face. hahaha

on a brighter note, thriller! how exciting! if you haven't been, thriller is out at tuacahn. it's just a bunch of dancing zombies that come and scare you n stuff. it's the greatest. i go every year and i'm still amazed at how amazing it is, each year!

other upsides to halloween: hocus pocus and halloween town. :)

i just love halloween. i love being scared. i love screaming. i (sometimes, ONLY sometimes) love things that make me paranoid enough to not want to sleep. it just totally makes life much more exciting. and not dull at ALL.

love love love.
